First, check to make sure your tone alert radio is plugged in. 

Look on the bottom of the radio to check the serial number (it will begin with AA or AD)

If you have a radio starting with AA
- Look on the top of the radio, you will see four buttons on the right.
- The two outermost buttons are "Volume Up" and "Weather"
- Hold those buttons down at the same time, release, hold them down together again, and release
- You should hear a loud beep and see a steady green light.  If so, you have successfully reset your tone alert radio

If you have a radio starting with AD
- Unplug the radio
- Unscrew and remove the power cord from the back of the radio
- Wait 15-20 seconds
- Attach the power cord to the radio (this has to be done first)
- Plug the radio back into the wall.
